Today, our co-operative organisation places men and women - i.e. consumers, farmers and employees - at the very heart of its project and it gives, of course, top priority to food safety.
Agri Confiance is the co-operative brand name used for applying the AFNOR certification system to agricultural production, and it corresponds to the ISO certification standards in the industrial and services sectors. Coopagri Bretagne has played a leading role, within the French agricultural co-operation, in the development of this standard. Our co-operative also obtained the first ever Agri Confiance certificate in 1997 (for vegetables produced for processing). Today, more than 800 vegetable producers and 1,000 dairy producers have obtained this certification.
