Today, our co-operative organisation places men and women - i.e. consumers, farmers and employees - at the very heart of its project and it gives, of course, top priority to food safety.
Quality control is principally handled through the implementing of specifications on the products or the production methods. These specifications are certified and checked by outside bodies. All the production stages are involved: the factories are ISO certified, and for the agriculture itself "label' standards have been established e.g "organic', and certificates of product conformity or approaches such as Agri Confiance have been introduced.
Coopagri Bretagne's laboratory offers a continual overview and a means of inspecting the entire process thanks to its analyses of the farm products or the end-products and thanks to its recognised capabilities in the detection of micro-pollutants or in the field of sensorial analysis.
